Isn't he just the cutest?
I haven't even bought a tree yet much less Christmas decorations. Slacking, I am! We still have our Halloween decorations up. -_-
The only Christmas-y thing I bought was during Black Friday at Walmart and it was a collection of 5 candles for $4.96. I will go out soon to get everything done.
Also, HELLO, my son's birthday is in less than a week! I just looked at my calendar and was thinking to myself, "I am such a bad mother! My son's birthday is in a few days and I haven't planned SHIT!" I will probably just end up having a BBQ at my grandmother's and get Eli a cake and let him open his gifts. Kid's birthday's are stressful especially when you are on a budget. And by budget I mean, BROKE. He will have fun, though. He loves Makka and I will just let him run around and tire himself out while I have a beer and eat some spare ribs. Mmm..
BLACK FRIDAY
was sheer madness. I HAD to get those deals though. Bought a 32", tons of children's DVD's, TOYS GALORE, bath mats, candles, etc. It was fun. Ryan was getting super mad at people because they kept hitting his ankles with their carts. LOL We got there around 8, left at almost midnight. Mind you, the two hours of that was spent in line for the TV. Ryan kept saying, "Look at this line, we will never get the TV." A few minutes later: "We are moving pretty quick! We are definitely getting the TV!" Haha. All in all, We got a lot of things for Eli and ourselves for a great deal.
Here is a picture of Ryan. I am not sure I have mentioned him before. We got together about a year ago. He is an amazing man and excellent father to Eli. They are literally best friends. He helps me out so much and listens to all my ranting and raving about LIFE.
Isn't he good looking? I think so. ;)
Oh, and here is a picture he took of Eli & I at the pumpkin patch on Halloween. I forgot to post it last time.
Oh, I just LOVE that little boy!!
Okay, now that I have showed off my beautiful little family, I can get back to talking about Christmas.
I am going to decorate the tree with white lights. Add a few colored ornaments and I will be done. Not going ALL out this year. After all, Halloween is my favorite Holiday. :)
I am going to cook and bake my ass off though. I love cooking Christmas meals and desserts. The smell of it all will fill my small apartment with all that goodness! Very excited about that. That's about it for Christmas. Nothing fancy this year. Just time spent with family and enjoying time at home watching movies with my boys.
