I seriously am in love with this holiday.
The pumpkins, the weather, family, food, and that oh so lovely pumpkin spiced everything!
Eli is going to be a skunk tomorrow and we will be hopefully Trick r Treating with friends. This whole month we have been enjoying all the classic horror movies such as 'Halloween', 'Friday the 13th', 'A Nightmare on Elm Street', etc! My son knows all the bad guys as 'Monsters'. He really enjoys horror movies just like I did when I was a kid.
As punishment when I was about 5, was to watch the Chucky movies at night before bed. Instead of it scaring the crap out of me, I laughed at it. My mom was a little ticked off that her trick didn't work. ;)
Here is a picture of our pumpkin we carved about a week and a half ago. I tried to replicate the original 'Halloween' movie pumpkin circa 1978.
It looked real great lit up, too.
Today on the Halloween Eve agenda is a long jog with my boy, picking up some crafts to do tonight, and HOPEFULLY find a great pumpkin patch where I can take his pictures.
Happy Halloween, everyone! Be safe & enjoy this awesome weather and holiday!
